Quick Beef Stir-Fry Recipe

  • 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 yellow onion, sliced
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup oyster sauce
  • 2 tsp cornstarch
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 2 green onions, sliced for garnish

Instructions for Quick Beef Stir-Fry recipe:

  1. Heat a wok or large pan over high heat. Add the vegetable oil and beef, and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes, or until the beef is browned.
  2. Add the red bell pepper, onion, mushrooms, and garlic to the pan, and stir-fry for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until the vegetables are slightly softened.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, and sugar. Pour the mixture into the pan, and stir-fry for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until the sauce thickens.
  4. Serve the stir-fry over rice or noodles and garnish with green onions.

To make the dish more visually appealing you can use some sesame seeds, chopped cilantro, or some crushed peanuts on the top.
