<li>4 cups chicken broth</li>



<li>1 (14.5 oz) can diced tomatoes</li>



<li>1 (4 oz) can diced green chilies</li>



<li>1 cup frozen corn</li>



<li>2 cups cooked and shredded chicken</li>



<li>Salt and pepper, to taste</li>



<li>1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro</li>



<li>1/2 cup crushed tortilla chips</li>



<li>1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese</li>



<li>Lime wedges, for garnish</li>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Instructions for Chicken Tortilla Soup recipe:</h2>



<ol>
<li>Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.</li>

<ul>
<li>1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts</li>



<li>1 tablespoon olive oil</li>



<li>1 medium yellow onion, diced</li>



<li>2 cloves garlic, minced</li>



<li>4 cups low-sodium chicken broth</li>



<li>2 cups water</li>



<li>1 bay leaf</li>



<li>1/2 teaspoon dried thyme</li>



<li>1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary</li>



<li>1/2 teaspoon dried basil</li>



<li>1/2 teaspoon salt</li>



<li>1/4 teaspoon black pepper</li>



<li>2 carrots, peeled and diced</li>



<li>2 celery stalks, diced</li>



<li>1 cup uncooked brown rice</li>



<li>1/2 cup frozen peas</li>



<li>2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley</li>
