<p>Baked Spaghetti</p>



<p>Preparation Time: 15 minutes Cooking Time: 45 minutes Total Time: 1 hour Serves: 6-8</p>



<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Ingredients:</h3>



<ul>
<li>1 lb spaghetti</li>



<li>1 lb ground beef</li>



<li>1 onion, diced</li>



<li>2 cloves garlic, minced</li>



<li>1 (28 oz) can crushed tomatoes</li>



<li>1 (6 oz) can tomato paste</li>



<li>2 cups water</li>



<li>1 tsp dried basil</li>



<li>1 tsp dried oregano</li>



<li>1 tsp salt</li>



<li>1/2 tsp black pepper</li>



<li>1 cup grated Parmesan cheese</li>



<li>1/2 cup grated mozzarella cheese</li>
</ul>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Instructions for Baked Spaghetti recipe:</h2>



<ol>
<li>Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).</li>



<li>Cook spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.</li>



<li>In a large skillet, brown ground beef over medium heat. Drain any excess fat.</li>



<li>Add onion and garlic to the skillet and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.</li>



<li>Add crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, water, basil, oregano, salt, and pepper to the skillet and stir to combine.</li>



<li>Bring the mixture to a simmer and let cook for 10-15 minutes, or until it thickens.</li>



<li>In a large baking dish, layer cooked spaghetti and meat sauce. Repeat the layers until all of the spaghetti and sauce is used.</li>



<li>Sprinkle Parmesan and mozzarella cheese on top of the final layer.</li>



<li>Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes.</li>



<li>Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the cheese is golden brown and bubbly.</li>
</ol>



<p>To dress it up:</p>



<ul>
<li>You can top it with chopped parsley or basil before serving</li>



<li>Add some red pepper flakes for a little heat</li>
</ul>
