Rotisserie Chicken Recipe

- 1 (3-4 pound) whole chicken
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
Instructions for Rotisserie Chicken recipe:
- Preheat your rotisserie oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).
- In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, salt, pepper, paprika, thyme, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Rinse the chicken and pat it dry with paper towels.
- Rub the seasoning mixture all over the chicken, making sure to get it under the skin as well.
- Secure the chicken onto the rotisserie spit and tie the legs together with kitchen twine.
- Place the chicken in the rotisserie oven and cook for 1 hour and 30 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165 degrees F (74 degrees C).
- Carefully remove the chicken from the rotisserie spit and let it rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing and serving.
To dress it up, you can garnish the chicken with fresh herbs or lemon wedges.
