Easy Baked Chicken Tenders

Prep time: 10 minutes Cook time: 20 minutes Total time: 30 minutes Serves: 4

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breast tenders
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 2 cups bread crumbs
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder (optional)

Instructions for Easy Baked Chicken Tenders recipe:

  1. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
  2. In a shallow dish, mix together the flour, salt, pepper, and garlic powder (if using).
  3. In another shallow dish, beat the eggs.
  4. In a third shallow dish, place the bread crumbs.
  5. Dip each chicken tender in the flour mixture, shaking off any excess. Then dip it in the beaten eggs and finally coat it in the bread crumbs. Place the chicken tenders on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Bake the chicken tenders for 18-20 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.

To dress it up for presentation, you can garnish it with some freshly squeezed lemon juice and chopped parsley.
