<li>1 pound lasagna noodles</li>



<li>1 pound ground beef</li>



<li>1 onion, diced</li>



<li>3 cloves of garlic, minced</li>



<li>1 (28-ounce) can crushed tomatoes</li>



<li>2 cups ricotta cheese</li>



<li>1 cup grated Parmesan cheese</li>



<li>2 eggs</li>



<li>1/4 cup chopped fresh basil</li>



<li>1/2 teaspoon salt</li>



<li>1/4 teaspoon black pepper</li>



<li>4 cups shredded mozzarella cheese</li>
</ul>



<p>Preparation Time: 20 minutes Cooking Time: 45 minutes Total Time: 1 hour and 5 minutes</p>



<p>This recipe serves 8 people.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Instructions Homemade Lasagna recipe:</h2>



<ol>
<li>Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).</li>



<li>Cook the lasagna noodles according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.</li>



<li>In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, and cook until the onion is translucent. Stir in the crushed tomatoes and bring to a simmer.</li>



<li>In a separate bowl, mix together the ricotta cheese, 1/2 cup of the Parmesan cheese, eggs, basil, salt, and pepper.</li>



<li>Spread a small amount of the meat sauce on the bottom of a 9&#215;13 inch baking dish. Arrange a single layer of lasagna noodles on top of the sauce. Spread a thin layer of the ricotta cheese mixture over the noodles, then sprinkle with a layer of mozzarella cheese. Repeat layering with the remaining noodles, meat sauce, ricotta mixture, and mozzarella cheese.</li>



<li>Sprinkle the remaining Parmesan cheese on top of the mozzarella cheese.</li>



<li>Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 20 minutes, or until the cheese is golden brown and bubbly.</li>



<li>Allow the lasagna to cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.</li>
