Easy Italian Chicken

Preparation Time: 15 minutes Cooking Time: 25-30 minutes Total Time: 40-45 minutes Serves: 4


  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup white wine
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions for Easy Italian Chicken recipe:

  1. In a shallow dish, combine the flour, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Dredge the chicken breasts in the flour mixture, shaking off any excess.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  3. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add the chicken broth, white wine, and heavy cream. Bring to a simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened.
  5. Stir in the Parmesan cheese and cook until melted and well combined.
  6. Return the chicken to the skillet and spoon the sauce over the chicken.
  7. Serve over pasta, rice, or mashed potatoes.

Dress it up:

  • Garnish with chopped fresh parsley or basil
  • Serve with a side of roasted vegetables
  • Add some lemon wedges
